I’m an author, licensed cosmetologist barber, husband, and father. My father, Frederick “Good Fred” Ellis, was a licensed barber for over 40 years, and it was at his barbershop, La Rutan, in the heart of South Los Angeles that I developed my love for barbering and cosmetology. As a result, I followed in my father’s footsteps and have been a licensed stylist for 30 years.

Through running multiple successful businesses, my father taught me the importance of creating generational wealth and building a strong financial future for myself and my family.
